(S.W.A.P.)

Empowering a Community of Youth Leaders Living and Spreading the S.O. What! Message of Resilience 

 S.O. What! Ambassador Program (S.W.A.P.) is a leadership and resilience-building initiative that empowers youth to overcome obstacles, eliminate excuses, and take action to improve their lives and communities. Ambassadors serve as role models, spreading messages of resilience, confidence, and perseverance in their schools, communities, and social circles.

What You’ll Do as a S.O. What! Ambassador

​

  • Actively participate- Show up and engage in monthly outreach events, workshops, and program requirements.

  • Inspire Others – Share your journey, encourage others, and help people see that they are stronger than their struggles.

  • Take Action in Your Community – Get involved in service projects, community outreach, and resilience-building activities.

  • Engage with Fellow Ambassadors – Be part of a network of like-minded youth, supporting each other in personal and collective success.

  • Spread the S.O. What! Message – Represent the program in your school and on social media, showing others how to turn setbacks into comebacks.

  • Develop Leadership & Public Speaking Skills – Get opportunities to speak at events, mentor younger students, and share your experiences.

  • Give Back & Serve as a Role Model – Support younger students, encourage your peers, and bring positive change to your community.

  • Challenge Yourself & Grow – Step out of your comfort zone, take on leadership roles, and push yourself toward success

  • Adhere to the S.O. What! Code of Conduct- Demonstrate respect, accountability, and resilience.

Eligibility Requirements​

​

  • Ages: Currently Enrolling High School Students

  • Commitment: Able to commit to at least one year of active participation with the hope of always being a S.O. What! Ambassador

  • Character Traits: Resilient, motivated to grow, open to learning, and eager to inspire others

  • Diversity & Inclusion: We welcome youth from all backgrounds, including those from low-income or single-parent households, those who have faced adversity, and anyone looking to step up and lead.
